Just minding my own business...

This morning we were still in PJ's just having the first cuppa of the day, a bit of a chat & minding our own business when I saw something float past out of the corner of my eye. A mad dash upstairs to grab the camera, then out into the street (still in our pajamas) with the rest of the kids from the neighbourhood....unfortunately just too slow to get the close up....

and then just as the excitement had abated.....another one...

What a perfectly lovely thing to do on a crisp autumnal morning......and since I now had the camera out I thought I would photograph the Hummingbird cake I made last night......clearly we could not wait for it to cool down & demolished a chunk almost as soon as it came out of the oven...
