I took this on my way to work this morning. It is a beautiful day here in Worcester - the sun is shining and the birds start the dawn chorus at the ungodly hour of about four thirty in the morning these days. Not complaining though!! Fingers crossed that the good weather lasts until tomorrow for M day (MOVING DAY). As you can see the warmer weather has inspired the allotment holders to start their new season's planting.
I received this sweet postcard this morning from Carla! No prizes for guessing where I am going to be next week! Most of my possessions have been boxed up & the removal guys come to transport the big stuff on Thursday. From then on I will literally be living out of a suitcase.....& out of my car! Starting to get excited now......
I also received a special wedding invitation from Ben & Karine this morning but haven't been able to do justice to the invitation on a photograph yet so am going to play around some more & hopefully post a picture of this in a later post. For now you just have to take my word for it - it is beautiful! So looking forward to their wedding in August....
My first picture on my new blog......taken to celebrate Easter! A wonderful weekend spent with my cousin & family - lots of good food, conversation and a bit of wine thrown in to the mix. I was introduced to two lovely shops in Nottingham that Saturday. The first was Le Chien et Moi - what a gorgeous shopping experience - full of lovely goodies that tempt you to part with a serious amount of moolah & the best part was the owner's bassett hound, Mulberry, who personally greets all the customers.
After a serious amount of drooling and some purchases we proceeded to lunch at Edin opposite the Broadway art cinema in Broad Street - very yummy & very continental with an electic menu and music. The sort of place where you can spend the whole day with a newspaper working your way through breakfast, morning coffee, lunch & afternoon tea before they finally throw you out after dinner.....
